Prompt Timelines

Dr. Kathleen’s assessment turnaround timelines are generally very prompt – she understands what it takes to reach out, and how difficult it can be to finally get some answers! Often, there are time-sensitive considerations as well (i.e., application deadlines, upcoming final exams, transitions from levels of schooling). Contact Dr. Kathleen to discuss appropriate timing and scheduling that best meets your needs.

Social/Emotional/Behavioural Assessments

A Social/Emotional/Behavioural assessment includes standardized questionnaires, semi-structured interviewing, clinical observations, review of previous documentation, and additional collateral information.

Diagnoses often considered in these assessments include: Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Depressive and Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Personality Disorders, and Substance-Use Disorders.

Once target areas of concern are identified, evidence-based intervention follows (which can often include medication, strategies, and/or accommodations). Information regarding medication options can be provided/discussed, but recommendation and prescribing aspects must come from a Medical Doctor. Full reports or a diagnostic letter can be provided, as needed.

  • Academic profile (Reading, Writing, and Math)
